First look photos of the newly transformed garden reveal a surprising new addition, indicating that the Celebrity Big Brother house has undergone a significant transformation. Stars including Jack P Shepherd, Mickey Rourke and Patsy Palmer are moving into the famous house on Monday, and ahead of the new series it's been given a starry makeover.
While first look images of the house were revealed on Friday, now fans have been treated to a glimpse of the garden
However, despite the fact that many of the traditional features have not changed, such as the bright, pain-splattered decor and the steamy hot tub, there is one noticeable new feature. Instead of the mezzanine that was inside the house, the garden now has a brand-new den that is the perfect place for housemates to sneak off to have a private conversation. End-to-end windows provide a 360-degree view of the remainder of the garden from the snug space, which has plenty of cozy soft furnishings. But while many of the classic features remain, including the colourful pain-splattered decor and a steamy hot tub, there is one noticeable new feature
The garden also boasts huge glass doors leading into the house, and thanks to a change to the interior layouts, housemates are now able to be seen from all angles, offering little room to escape.
A source told MailOnline: ‘The addition of a ‘‘gossip den’’ will definitely shake things up this year, as celebrities will have a new spot to escape to for cosy chats, or spicy debriefs.’
‘A clear view of the entire garden means that any stars engaging in cheeky chinwags outside could be caught in the act, which could also lead to even more drama. "It's obvious that this year's house is definitely more confined than previous seasons, and for some celebrities, it could be their toughest challenge yet." This year's house, which has been built in a brand new location, is significantly smaller than the one which featured in the civilian series last year, meaning there are little spots for stars to escape to when they need a moment to themselves.
Even the well-known mezzanine, which graced the house last year and provided some housemates with a brief moment of solitude, is no longer there to escape Big Brother's watchful eye. Any surprise groups can be seen from all angles because of a small design change, and even the garden doors give a view all the way through the bedroom. Although the housemates' kitchens will unquestionably be well-stocked upon their arrival, it is unknown how long these supplies will last, particularly given that some of this year's stars are likely accustomed to receiving good food at the touch of a finger. The garden now has a brand-new den, which is the ideal spot for housemates to sneak off to for a private conversation after the mezzanine in the house was removed. The large garden, featuring a faux-grass layout, also includes two wooden sun loungers where guests can relax after enjoying a soothing dip in the hot tub
