Davido: Fighting Chioma hurt my business and caused me to lose a lot

 Davido, the singer, has discussed the ways in which he and his wife Chioma influence his personal and professional lives.

 The superstar spoke with The Breakfast Club podcast about how arguments with Chioma can hurt his business and how important her support has been to his success. Davido acknowledged that Chioma is not only a significant member of his family but also a significant contributor to his accomplishments. 

He talked about their relationship, which has been going on for more than a decade, and how it has changed and grown over time. 

The singer also discussed his initial reservations regarding introducing Chioma to his children and acknowledged that, despite his initial reservations, their bond has only strengthened over time. 

He said: “My wife has always had things over me since we were young.  Every time I fight her, something bad happens to my business.  She will respond, "So you are fighting me, Abi?," if I fight her. 

Your album is coming.  Do you want to fight me?’  She has that grace over me.  She is adored by my kids, particularly my daughter. There were times when I was afraid to bring my children into her presence, but there has been progress. He said that before they got married, he and Chioma had been together for 11 years. Davido and Chioma started dating when they were 17 and 18 years old, respectively. They met while they were still in school, and Chioma eventually became his wife after becoming his girlfriend.
