Female Ebonyi government official kidnapped by gunmen

 Blessing Adagba, the Coordinator of the Ngbo Central Development Center in the Ohaukwu Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, was kidnapped by unidentified assailants in the early hours of April 4. 

The incident, which occurred in the Okposhi Eheku community around midnight, has shaken the community. Eyewitnesses said the assailants, disguised as soldiers, stormed her residence and demanded she open the door.

 It was learned that the men assaulted her with firearms, overpowered her, and whisked her away to an unknown location when she refused and questioned their identity. Joshua Ukandu, a spokesperson for the Ebonyi State Police Command, confirmed the incident by stating that the Anti-Kidnapping Squad is making efforts to ensure the victim's safe rescue.
