Kevin De Bruyne announces his departure from Manchester City at season's end

Legendary midfielder, Kevin De Bruyne has announced that he will leave Manchester City this summer to end his decade long stay at the Etihad.

 De Bruyne's contract is due to expire at the end of the season, and the Belgian midfielder has confirmed he will not be signing a new deal. 

 De Bruyne, 33, wrote an emotional letter to fans on Friday, "Dear Manchester, Seeing this, you probably realize where this is going." Therefore, I'll get right to it and inform you that these will be my final months playing for Manchester City. "This will always be where we call home." "We cannot express our gratitude enough to the city, club, staff, teammates, friends, and family for this 10-year journey." "Every story has a conclusion, but this has unquestionably been the best chapter." "Let's take advantage of these last moments together!" "Much affection, KDB."" Since joining City from Wolfsburg in 2015 for £52 million, De Bruyne has established himself as one of the greatest players ever. He has been a key part of City's dominance for the past ten years, winning six Premier League titles, five Carabao Cups, two FA Cups, and, of course, the Champions League in 2023 to complete the Triple Crown. De Bruyne has made 413 appearances for City in all competitions, scoring 106 goals and assisting 174 times.
