MEN Condemns Rampant Violence in the Bokkos LGA of Plateau State

The Movement for the Emancipation of Nigeria (MEN) has issued a powerful statement condemning the relentless violence that has engulfed Bokkos Local Government Area in Plateau State.  In its statement, MEN decried the continuous unrest and human rights abuses that have devastated communities, calling on government authorities to take immediate and decisive action.

The organization expressed deep concern regarding the intensifying violence, which has not only resulted in a significant number of fatalities but has also caused widespread displacement and economic hardship for residents of the area. MEN emphasized that the current situation is a direct threat to regional stability and a flagrant violation of citizens' rights. In addition, the statement issued by MEN urged all parties involved to engage in productive dialog with the intention of restoring peace and securing justice for the victims. We are unable to watch as our fellow Nigerians suffer. The government must act now to end this cycle of violence and hold the perpetrators accountable,” the statement read.

Human rights groups from all over the world are becoming increasingly vocal as the crisis in Bokkos continues to deteriorate. The movement reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring that the victims' voices are heard and advocating for the oppressed.
