Oando's gas pipeline was vandalized, and Bayelsa condemns it

The vandalism of the 24-inch Ogboinbiri/Obiobi Gas Pipeline in the Southern Ijaw Local Government Area between Angiama and Angiamagbene was condemned by the Bayelsa Government on Friday. According to the Nigerian News Agency (NAN), Oando's 24-inch Ogboinbiri/Obiobi Gas Pipeline supplies the Bonny-based Nigeria Liquid Natural Gas (NLNG) export facility. Mrs.

This sabotage of the economy will not be tolerated. The government and security agencies are collaborating closely to apprehend those responsible and prevent future incidents. We urge all citizens to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities involving public assets to law enforcement agencies. 

The public should be aware that the protection of national assets is a collective responsibility. Not only does damage to public assets cost the federal, state, and local governments money, but it also poses serious environmental risks.

 She stated, "Citizens' exposure to petrochemicals and natural gas can pose significant health risks." The commissioner urged young people in the state to resist the urge to engage in destructive behaviors and instead collaborate with the administration to preserve peace and safeguard public infrastructure. She stated that they can accomplish the government's prosperity agenda together and construct infrastructure to attract investment. The commissioner said, "Let us work together to ensure the safety and security of our public assets and prevent economic sabotage in the future." (NAN)
