Student Attacks A Peer Before Attacking A Cousin For Intervening (Watch Video)

Students and faculty at Riverside High School were left in shock today by a shocking act of violence in which a student reportedly struck his own cousin when he tried to intervene and beat a random peer. 

Eyewitness accounts claim that the argument started during a routine break between classes. During the course of the investigation, the identity of one student, who is being withheld, allegedly targeted another student without prompting. 

The situation quickly deteriorated when the victim’s cousin, who was nearby, stepped in to help diffuse the confrontation.  The aggressor retaliated by attacking the cousin as well, a shocking turn of events. 

The situation was quickly brought to the attention of school security and local law enforcement. Officials say that the aggressor has been taken into custody and is the subject of an investigation right now. 

Both victims were treated by medical professionals for minor injuries sustained during the fight. Classes have been temporarily suspended at the school while authorities investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident. The incident has prompted increased calls for measures to ensure the safety of students and their parents. 

One parent, whose identity has been withheld, stated, "It's frightening to think that such violence can erupt in a place where our children are supposed to feel secure." In light of the events of today, school administrators are reexaminating their security procedures and reiterating their commitment to ensuring a safe environment. 

Through interviews and surveillance footage, authorities are attempting to compile a comprehensive account of the events. A comprehensive evaluation has been promised by the district, and additional campus resources for conflict resolution and mental health support are being considered.
