There’s a painful truth that many Nigerians are starting to accept, and it’s this: our government isn’t working for us it’s working against us.
From APC to PDP, from Tinubu to Seyi Tinubu and beyond, the people in charge seem less interested in serving the nation and more focused on protecting their own legacies, building dynasties, and turning Nigeria into a private estate.
What Has Changed Since Tinubu Took Office?
Ask yourself this: Since President Tinubu stepped into Aso Rock, what has changed for the better?
• Is the economy better?
• Is there less suffering in the streets?
• Are the youth empowered?
• Is there hope?

All we’ve seen is the continuation of a power structure that benefits the elite and crushes the masses. We see the same names, the same faces, and the same results. And now, it looks like Tinubu is setting up Nigeria to be ruled by his family, just like Lagos.
If you think that’s dramatic, just look at the pattern. The influence of his son, Seyi Tinubu, grows while everyday Nigerians are silenced, sidelined, and forgotten.
The Illusion of Democracy
We were told democracy was the answer. But right now, what we have is not democracy it’s political feudalism. The powerful take from the people, turn it into wealth, and use that same wealth to hold us down. And anyone who dares speak out? They’re shut up, locked up, or worse.

Back in the days of our traditional rulers our kings power had limits. A king was a servant to culture, to truth, and to the people. He could only rule by the consent of the land and the laws of our heritage.
Today, power is unchecked. Culture is mocked. And the people? We’re barely surviving.
It’s Time for a New System
We don’t need another recycled leader from a broken party. We need a new system one rooted in our culture, our unity, and our people.
It’s time for Nigerians to:
• Rethink the kind of leadership we want
• Reclaim our right to self-determination
• Reject any leader or system that feeds off our suffering
• Unite across regions and tribes, and fight for a better future
Because if we stay silent, the Tinubu dynasty won’t just control Lagos they’ll own Nigeria. And by then, it won’t be a country anymore. It’ll be a brand.
Final Thought
This is not just about Tinubu or APC. This is about the people of Nigeria waking up to the reality that we’ve been used for far too long. We are the power and we need to start acting like it.
Let the world hear your voice. Share this post. Spark a conversation. Nigeria belongs to all of us not just to the sons of politicians.
