Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, has sent a message to Vladimir Putin, the president of Russia. Zelenskyy asserts that Putin "will die soon."
His remarks come amid reports that the Russian leader is experiencing health issues. During a sit down interview with journalists in Paris following yesterday's meeting with French President Emmanuel Macron, Zelenskyy made this statement.
He stated: "It is a fact that he (Putin) will die soon, and it will come to an end," Putin has long been the target of rumors that he is afflicted with health issues, despite his efforts to present a brave face in public. In recent years, the 72-year-old has appeared to have a puffy face, a twitching leg and blood-shot eyes, which has only fuelled the speculation more.
One notable incident from 2022 stands out: during a meeting with then-Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu, Putin slouched in his chair while grabbing a table and mumbling. Additionally, it has been reported that he coughs incessantly and moves his hands and feet in a manner that appears to be out of the blue. He appeared to walk with a limp several times.
